Visit to the Robinson Library

Suitable for: Key Stage 5

The Robinson Library welcomes visits from school parties to support their A level studies. Teachers can build their visit around the following activities to create a session to meet all their needs:

- tour of the library
- explanation of the on-line catalogue to search for resources
- developing research skills
- understanding plagiarism
- introduction to Special Collections and an opportunity to touch History

Most teachers then follow the taught sessions with individual research time in one of our ICT suites as a taster and preparation for university life.
Please Note: Due to health and safety this activity is restrictred to students over the age of 16.
