Spectroscopy Visits

Suitable for: KS5, Length: Half Day

"Standard" workshop includes :

Short introductory talk on the basics of spectroscopic techniques by a member of academic staff.

Small group visits to m.s., i.r., n.m.r., u.v./vis. and X-ray crystallography.

Finish with a 30 min. A-level spectra problem-solving session (m.s., i.r., Hn.m.r.)

Workshops can easily be tailored to meet the requirements of your A-level specification on request.

Wednesday afternoons preferred during term time, but other days/times are possible by prior arrangement.
